The patented interface of the base jaws of the Avanti vise ensures highly accurate positioning of the top jaws, which are clamped with just one screw and allow jaws to be changed in a matter of seconds. Given that all LANG vises use the same system body, the Avanti base jaws are compatible with the Makro•Grip® 5-axis vise and can be used on it as a complementary pair of jaws for finishing tasks.
The 6-jaw chuck with quick jaw exchange system is equally suitable for machining blank parts with gripping jaws and for the clamping of deformation-sensitive components with soft top jaws. In both cases, the manually operated scroll chuck utilises a friction based clamping principle. The mounting of the top jaws is done completely without additional tools thanks to an innovative click mechanism.
The clamping edge of this combo zero-point plate allows mounting on basically all machine tables if clamps are used for this purpose. Due to its simple mounting, this plate version is also often used as an interface on pallet automations or on own customer-specific clamping devices. Due to the two grid sizes 52 mm and 96 mm, all vise sizes from LANG Technik can be used in this combo plate.
Stamping units for the external pre-stamping of the workpiece blank. Form-Closer Technology refer to a technology in which the workpiece to be clamped (up to 45 HRC) is pre-stamped with a defined contour under high stamping pressure (up to 20 Tons), before it is clamped in the Makro•Grip® 5-Axis Vise at highest holding forces, low clamping pressure, accessibility and process reliable available in 5-sided machining.
The largest version of the Clean•Tec chip fan, whose body can be clamped in any standard Ø 20 mm tool holder, is particularly suitable for cleaning large areas and is, therefore, more likely to be used in larger machines. By controlling the speed of the machine spindle, it opens and closes its blades and efficiently frees workpieces and fixtures from chips and cooling.
The new Makro•Grip® micro with jaw width 46 mm is a real space-saver. Equipped with only two clamping studs, the 5-Axis Vise is perfectly suited for multiple clamping of small components in limited space. The new continuous holding serration(full serration) of the clamping jaws ensures maximum hold of the components, guaranteeing maximum safety and reliability in the clamping process. Thanks to its design with only two clamping studs, two of these vises can be clamped side by side in a Quick•Point® 52 zero point plate - or in the also new and matching Quick•Point® duo series.
